Chr.) sowohl erstaunlich stabil als auch neuen Einflussen wie exotischen Gewurzen aus dem Fernhandel und sich andernden, religios motivierten Haltungen zu Essen und Gemeinschaft ausgesetzt.

About the Author

Eike Faber ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl fur die Geschichte des Altertums an der Universitat Potsdam. Er forscht uber die Geschichte und Religionsgeschichte der Spatantike, den Umgang mit Kriegstoten im archaischen und klassischen Griechenland sowie Amazonenmythen. Timo Klar ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl fur Alte Geschichte an der Universitat Saarbrucken. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind das romische Hispanien, das ptolemaische Agypten, das fruhe Prinzipat, die Spatantike sowie Ernahrung und Gesellschaft im Altertum.
