The image is clean, clear and sharp with beautiful detail.Birds' eggs exhibit a remarkable diversity in shape, size, color, and pattern, reflecting adaptations to various nesting habits and environments. The Ovenbird lays white to creamy eggs with brown spots in its domed, ground-based nest, while the House Wren produces pinkish-white eggs with reddish-brown spots in its cavity nests. Cedar Waxwings lay pale blue to gray eggs with dark spots in tree nests, and Wood-Pewees have white to creamy eggs with brown spots in their branch-based nests. Hummingbirds' tiny, white eggs are found in small, elevated nests, and Crested Flycatchers lay creamy to pinkish eggs with reddish-brown spots, often in nests adorned with snake skin. Meadowlarks produce white to pale blue eggs with dark spots on the ground, and Cowbirds, being brood parasites, lay white to grayish eggs with brown spots in other birds' nests. Bobolinks lay white to pale blue eggs with dark scrawls in dense vegetation, and Semipalmated Sandpipers produce pale olive to buff eggs with dark spots in ground scrapes. Nighthawks lay cream to gray eggs with brown marks directly on the ground, while Green Herons lay pale blue-green eggs in platform nests near water. Sharp-shinned Hawks produce bluish-white eggs with brown spots in tree nests, and American Crows lay pale blue to greenish eggs with brown spots in large stick platforms. Common Terns lay buff to pale olive eggs with dark spots in ground scrapes, and Spotted Sandpipers produce similar eggs near water. Virginia Rails lay cream to buff eggs with brown spots in dense vegetation, and Screech Owls lay white eggs in cavities. Purple Grackles produce pale blue to gray eggs with brown spots in tree nests, and Sparrow Hawks (American Kestrels) lay white to creamy eggs with brown spots in cavities or on ledges. Kingbirds lay white to creamy eggs with brown spots in tree nests, and Wilson's Thrushes produce pale blue eggs with brown spots in ground-based nests. Yellow-billed Cuckoos lay pale blue-green eggs in platform nests, and Swallows produce white eggs with brown spots in mud-based nests attached to structures or in cavities. This variety underscores the unique reproductive strategies of different bird species. NOTE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE YOU PURCHASE: THIS IS IS A GENUINE ANTIQUE PRINT.
