Dito Gezigt buiten Haarlem.' - A fantasy dune landscape with the city of Haarlem in the background, and on plate 2 a lake (Brouwerskolk) with a hunter and his hunting dogs. Copper engraving on hand laid paper. Description: Published in 1765 by J.W.Pruys.Artists and Engravers: Made by 'F.W. Musculus' after 'Jan Wynands'. F.W. Musculus was a late 18th. C. Dutch engraver active in Amsterdam and possibly England. Jan Wynands (1632-1684). Condition: Good, given age. Some small stains in the margins. The second plate with vertical creasing from the top margin into the image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
