Katalog der ballonhistorischen Sammlung Oberst von Brug, Abb 17. Entgegen des Titels zeigt das Blatt nicht den Heißluftballon der Gebrüder Montgolfier sondern die "Landung" des ersten mit Wasserstoff gefüllte Ballons des Wissenschaftlers Jacques Charles. Dessen Flug dauerte vom Pariser Marsfeld bis zum Dorf Gonesse 45 Minuten. Das unbemannte Flugobjekt mit einem Durchmesser von vier Metern versetzte die Dorfbewohner in so großen Schrecken, dass sie es mit Mistgabeln und Sensen zerstörten. Etwas fleckig, alt aufgezogen.
