Antique print, titled: 'Un Duel', (A duel.) This plate shows two gentlemen after a sword fight. Aquatint etching on a vellin type paper. Description: Artists and Engravers: Made by Jazet after Vigneron. Jean-Pierre-Marie Jazet (1788-1871) was a French aquatint printmaker. A lot of his prints have Arabian/Middle Eastern themes. Pierre Roch Vigneron (French; 1789-1872). Condition: Good, given age. Paper loss in right margin, restored. Margin little soiled. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully. Storage location: TPC-P1-09 The overall size is ca. 25 x 20.9 inch. The image size is ca. 22.8 x 18.3 inch. The overall size is ca. 63.5 x 53.1 cm. The image size is ca. 57.8 x 46.5 cm.
