Antique Master Print, untitled. A small hut between trees. Etching on laid paper. Description: Source unknown, to be determined. State: Third state of 3. Ref: Sliggers 40. Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Hermanus van Brussel' after own design. Hermanus van Brussel (1763-1815) was a landscape painter and graphic artist from Haarlem. He was a student of J.B. Brandhof and Ed. Hendriks. He also painted decorations for the Amsterdam theatre and the Loo Royal Palace. Condition: Very good, given age. Remains of attachment to carrier to the top margin. Scattered foxing in the margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully. Storage location: TPCLA-C7-42 The overall size is ca. 5.2 x 4.1 inch. The image size is ca. 2.2 x 2.2 inch. The overall size is ca. 13.3 x 10.4 cm. The image size is ca. 5.7 x 5.7 cm.
