Cornelis Ploos van Amstel (1726-1798) was active as merchant in Amsterdam. He was an avid collector of art and invented a method of making prints after drawings from his own collection. Adriaen van de Velde (1636-1672) was a very versatile artist. He made paintings, drawings and prints. He is even known to make terracotta sculptures. His subjectmatter is almost always cattle, dogs and horses. Condition: Very good, given age. No margins, as published, together on the original support.
