Original copperplate engraving / etching on a verge type hand laid paper. Description: This original old antique print / plate originates from: 'De Graaven van Holland, in Jaardichten beschreeven.', by P. Langendyk, published in Haarlem, The Netherlands by J. Bosch, 1745.Artists and Engravers: Author: Pieter Langendyk (1683-1756): poet, author, etcher, collector and artist from Haarlem. Engraver: Henricus Spilman after Taco Jelgersma. Henricus / Hendrik Spilman (Dutch 1721-1784): Engraver and designer of mostly town and city views. Tako Hajo Helgersma (1702-1795): Dutch painter from Harlingen. Condition: Excellent. General age related toning and occasional light staining. Paper edges ocassionally with tiny tears and more browned, not effecting image. Carefully study scan as this shows the condition well. Storage location: C7-22 The overall size is ca. 6.3 x 7.9 inch. The image size is ca. 4.7 x 7.1 inch. The overall size is ca. 16 x 20 cm. The image size is ca. 12 x 18 cm.
