Engraving on laid paper. Made by 'Simon Fokke' after own design. Simon Fokke (Amsterdam, 1712 - 1784) was a Dutch engraver, etcher and designer. He was a student of Jan Caspar Philips, and worked mainly in book illustration. Very good, given age. Thread margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully. The overall size is ca. 10.1 x 15 cm. The image size is ca. 9.5 x 14.7 cm. The overall size is ca. 4 x 5.9 inch. The image size is ca. 3.7 x 5.8 inch.
