Author:Le Comte Louis-Antoine de Bougainville. Publisher: Dordrecht: A. Blusse en Zoon, 1772.Artists and Engravers: Made by 'A. van Krevelt' after an anonymous artist. Abram van Krevelt (1732-1784) was a Dutch engraver of maps and characters, active in Amsterdam. Condition: Very good, given age. Orginal folds as issued. Margins cropped close to the plate mark. A very small tear in left margin, reinforced using contemporary paper backed with acid free archival tape. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling.
