This medical and anatomy plate shows the lower jaw, maxilla inferior and cervical vertebrae and bones. This is an very detailed engraving with very delicate hand colouring. Description: This old antique print originates from: "Petit Atlas Complet d'Anatomie . ", by J.N. Masse, published in Paris, France by Mequignon-Marvis, 1843-1888. Particular edition unknown. You will find more items from this work in our ebay store and on our website (use about me link) or in our ebay store. Artists and Engravers: The plates are engraved by M. Davesne after Jean Baptiste Francois Leveille (1769-1829), a French artist and author of medical books. Condition: Fine; general age related toning; occasional faint spots / foxing as visible on scan. Please study scan as they picture the item very well.
