Item description from seller

Original vintage World War Two propaganda poster - Award For Careless Talk Don't discuss Troop movements Ship sailings War equipment - by Steven Dohanos (1907-1994) featuring a dramatic design of a man's hand adorned with a Nazi ring on one finger, holding an Iron Cross award against a red background with a jagged edge, the bold text in black and blue letters above and below. The reverse of the poster features the following text - Award for Careless Talk Stevan Dohanos, whose "Award for Careless Talk" poster appears on the opposite side, is one of those rare artists who combines a distinguished talent for both "fine" and "commercial" art. Probably most widely known as an illustrator for national magazines, he also demonstrates his grasp of powerful poster technique in this dramatic anti-loose-talk display.
