This detailed natural history lithograph is from Heinrich Rudolf Schinz's "Naturgeschichte und Abbildungen der V� gel.". The work was published in Zurich by Orell & Füssli between 1833 and 1835. --- The work detailed many animals and natural history subjects, often with many subjects to a plate. The lithographs were done by Karl J. Brodtmann and feature original hand-coloring. --- Provenance: Owner's stamp to original covers reading "Hahn-Ziegler / von Zürich", endpapers had owner's note of Dr. C. Zelter --- The work is in very good to excellent condition overall. There may be a few minor imperfections to be expected with age.
