In 2002 World he was the official artist of the PFA following the English football team in Japan and Korea. After this tournament he worked with fan groups travelling and documenting English football fans at home and abroad for many years. This original lithograph was published in 2003. Currently a Professor of Illustration at Bath Spa University, Vyner also travels the world drawing life as he experiences it on the vibrant streets of our cities and recording global sporting events including the 2012 Olympic Games in London where he was the official artist for ?The Times? newspaper. Featuring a 27-year-old David Beckham (who scored in the 1-0 victory over Argentina) this fine original lithograph was thought lost until the recent dispersal of the remaining stock of the Curwen Studio. We have acquired the remaining few copies of this work and each copy is signed, titled and numbered by the artist and in exceptionally fine condition.
