Original vintage travel poster issued by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway LMS and London North Eastern Railway LNER for Edinburgh It's Quicker By Rail featuring a great design by Fred Taylor (1875-1963) titled Chapel of the Thistle St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh Scotland depicting two men in ceremonial robes standing inside the high-ceilinged chapel (opened in 1911 by King George V), built by the Scottish architect Sir Robert Stodart Lorimer (1864-1929) with craftspeople and artisans from the Arts and Crafts movement. Printed by The Baynard Press. Large size. Fair condition, large restored paper losses on image, restored folds, restored tears on image, minor staining, backed on linen. Size: 102x120cm.

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35. We use Royal Mail special delivery with insurance for postage in the UK and signed and tracked service courier service (UPS, DHL or DPD) for international shipments.
