Original vintage advertising poster for the Swiss brand of bottled natural mineral water from the Jura Mountains - Eptinger - featuring a striking image by the notable Swiss graphic designer Herbert Leupin (1916-1999) showing the outline of a bottle and a glass formed by white dots on top of a table with yellow legs covered by a tablecloth with the Eptinger logo on red and white stripes set against a blue background. Based in Basel Switzerland Mineralquelle Eptingen AG was founded by Edmund Buchenhorner and Ernst Singer in 1899 and remains an independent family business (now under Damaris and Matthias Buchenhorner); in 1941 Herbert Leupin designed the first advertising poster for the Eptinger Mineralwasser company.
