The following text is part of the artwork: "Child Life: The Children's Own Magazine." No date, circa 1920s. Matboard measures 15 1/2" x 22." Artwork area measures 12" x 16." Cover art is very clean and intact. Colors bright, lines clean and intact. Matboard and part of the artwork have slight darkening or age toning. Beautifully rendered in fine detail by Hazel Frazee. Hazel Frazee (1889-1972) was an American artist and book illustrator from Chicago. She graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago, participated in several art exhibitions, and was a member of the Poets Club of Chicago. Frazee illustrated many of the covers for Child Life magazine. Child Life was a children's magazine that was published from 1922-2007.
