1819. Blattma� je ca. 23 x 37 cm. Nordspanische Stadt Numantia (span. Numancia) vor ihrer Zerst�rung durch Scipio 133 v. Chr. Ein Blatt zeigt die Belagerung der Stadt mit Belagerungsring, ein weiteres die r�mischen Truppen in aufmarschierter Formation; ein drittes das (im Geschmack des 18 Jhdts. geschm�ckte) Amphitheater w�hrend der Darbietung einer Seeschlachtszene. Die Belagerung und Zerst�rung Numancias ist in der Neuzeut vor allem durch Cervantes' 1784 erschienene Trag�die "El cerco de Numancia" bekannt. - Johann Berka (1758-1815), Kupferstecher aus B�hmen. - Entlang des Plattenrandes knapp beschnitten. Das feste Papier jeweils mit Bugfalten, etwas gebr�unt/fleckig.
