Small hardback, 6.5 x 4 inches. In full green morocco leather fine binding, wide decorative gilt paneled boards, gilt decorations to spine. Full gilt page edges. Gilt dentelles. In very good condition. Rubbing to edges of boards. Some tanning to endpapers. No inscriptions or marks. Some occasional minor light foxing spots to pages. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 211pp. With b&w wood engraved vignettes in text. Four long poems celebrating the four seasons. The author was a Scottish poet and playwright, known for his masterpiece The Seasons and the lyrics of Rule, Britannia!.
