C'est le cas en 1912 avec le naufrage du Titanic, dont l'origine de la catastrophe est dans sa volont� de conqu�rir le titre alors d�tenu par le Mauretania. C'est encore le cas en 1930, lorsque le Normandie d�croche le titre dans le sens aller, puis retour. Le dernier paquebot d�tenteur est am�ricain : l'United States en 1952. Depuis, seuls des catamarans ont remport� le � Hales Trophy �L'histoire de ce troph�e, c'est avant tout une course au record entre compagnies maritimes, mais �galement une course au prestige. Shipping Costs: For books within the US: Ground UPS $8 for first volume, $4 for each additional volume. Heavy volumes cost more. Prints and posters $20.00 for 1-3. Most foreign shipments by airmail are $17.00 up to 1 pound or $60.00 up to 2.2 kilos by courier. For all other shipments, please inquire.
