BRAND NEW CONDITION. THIS UNUSUAL LARGE POSTER measures 24 x 18 inches and was drawn in 1996 (only Sendak drawing which includes THE WORLD TRADE CENTER having been drawn before 9/11). SEE SCANS OF TOP AND BOTTOM OF POSTER. Sendak entered into a contractual agreement with Sony Corporation, which included his designing six animated window displays for Christmas at their New York corporate headquarters. The poster shows the Wild Thing with New York City Skyscraper Landscape on its head making him resemble the Statue of Liberty. It was available for sale only to NYC visitors to the Sony building in the 1996 holiday season. NOTE: The third scan of the entire poster is from a magazine as my scanner wouldn't hold the poster without possibly damaging it. Seller Inventory # 2470
