Seltene deutsche Erstveröffentlichung der Schrift ?Die auswärtige Politik des russischen Zarentums?, die erstmals im Februar 1890 in der russischen-marxistischen Zeitschrift ?Social-Demokrat?, Heft 1 erschienen ist. Der Schluss der Arbeit erschien im 2. Heft im August 1890. Die deutsche Übersetzung der ersten beiden Kapitel wurde erstmals im April Heft der Neuen Zeit veröffentlicht. Laut dem MEW Bd. 22 protestierte Friedrich Engels (1820 - 1895) jedoch gegen die redaktionellen Entstellungen seines Textes. Die Redaktion hatte ohne Rücksprache seine Einschätzung zu den herrschenden Kreisen Rußlands und Preußens, sowie zu den Vertretern der Hohenzollern Dynastie usw. abgeschwächt. Engels forderte einen Neudruck, der dann in der Mainummer mit Fußnote der Redaktion erschienen ist. In dieser Nummer wurde der komplette Artikel abgedruckt, so dass das letzte Kapitel III eine Erstveröffentlichung ist. - Mit weiteren Texten von Paul Lafargue, Bruno Schönlank, Karl Kautsky, Julie Zadek, Paul Ernst, Bernhard Zerbst u.a. - Kanten leicht berieben, sonst guter Zustand. Rare German first publication of the text ?The Foreign Policy of Russian Tsarism?, which first appeared in February 1890 in the Russian-Marxist magazine ?Social-Demokrat?, issue 1. The final part of the work appeared in the 2nd issue in August 1890. The German translation of the first two chapters was first published in the April issue of the Neue Zeit. According to MEW Vol. 22, Friedrich Engels (1820 - 1895) protested against the editorial distortions of his text. Without prior consultation the editorial team had weakened its assessment of the ruling circles in Russia and Prussia, as well as the representatives of the Hohenzollern dynasty, etc. Engels demanded a reprint, which was published in the May issue with a footnote from the editors. In this issue the complete article was printed, so that the last chapter III is a first publication. - With further texts by Paul Lafargue, Bruno Schönlank, Karl Kautsky, Julie Zadek, Paul Ernst, Bernhard Zerbst and others - Edges slightly chafed, otherwise in good condition. 1300 gr.
