Adam D. Roberts

Adam Roberts is a self-taught cook and humor writer whose food blog, The Amateur Gourmet, was named “the eleventh best food blog of all time” by First We Feast. He is the author of two books, The Amateur Gourmet (Bantam Dell, 2005) and Secrets of the Best Chefs (Artisan, 2013), which was named The Best Cookbook of the Year by The Daily Meal. Roberts has written articles and recipes for such outlets as The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, Food & Wine, Salon, Serious Eats, and Food52. He was the host of the Food Network’s first-ever web series, The FN Dish, and a staff writer and then story

editor on the ABC sitcom, The Real O’Neals. His podcast, The Amateur Gourmet Podcast, features intimate interviews with food-world stars like Ruth Reichl, Fergus Henderson, and Melissa Clark.
