Jeanette Pavini

“There’s always a better way to save!” This has been Jeanette Pavini’s motto for decades. Jeanette is an Emmy Award winning consumer reporter and advocate. A fifth-generation San Franciscan, her career began as the chief consumer reporter for CBS San Francisco. She’s been a featured guest contributor on The Today Show and shares her advice with hundreds of media outlets including GMA, AARP, and Oprah.com. She was the money contributor to the Hallmark Home & Family Show. As a columnist for WSJ Sunday and MarketWatch, she offered readers unique strategies for saving money and currently writes for TheStreet.

Jeanette is the recipient of 2 Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Award, Associated Press Award, 2 National Headliners, 9 Press Club Awards, Consumer Action Award in Media, and was voted among the best personal finance experts in GOBankingRates competition. She was honored at the U.S. House of Representatives by the Gold Star Wives with the Award of Excellence for her work to bring attention to military widows being denied benefits. In 2011, Jeanette wrote and produced her first documentary, “From Hell to Heaven” which focused on the dedicated people working for change in the world of human trafficking.

Jeanette is the co-author of Raising Baby Green, a recipient of the Nautilus Gold Medal Book Award. She is on the board for Her Future Coalition and is an emeritus board member for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation. Jeanette works nationally but her home and heart are in San Francisco. She hosts The Joy of $aving community.
