Biplab Sarker

Biplab Sarker was born on the 9th February, 1972 in India. East Pakistan was in war with Pakistan. And as you know later East Pakistan would become Bangladesh. Later my parents moved to the UK and resided in London. We later moved to Peterborough and I started attending primary school. I found the work very hard and did poorly. Later, I entered secondary school where at first I did not do well but later built up more confidence. Depression followed in further years and I seemed to be failing in further education, which was at college or universities I enrolled for.

My life has been a bumpy ride where I have been referred to social services, and put in a flat and lived on social benefit.

Before my father passed away, my parents bought me a house and it was then in 2022 I developed a hobby of writing poetry.

I now live with Bipolar Disorder, but try to enjoy life.
