Contents include biographies of judges and counsels in the different courts of Great Britain, and general remarks and anecdotes relating to the courts. 2 vols. 8vo. I: viii, 315, [1 (blank)] pp. II: [6 (1 blank)], 308 pp. Full library blue cloth, gilt-stamped on the spine, front and back covers pressure-stamped by a now-defunct institution. Light wear to head and foot of spines. Bookplates, rubber stamps, pressure-stamps, and library pockets present in both volumes. Lightly soiled, a few spots, and some staining. Hinges (inside) of vol. I reinforced; front cover a bit shaky, some middle pages loosening. Endpapers of vol. II chipped; front endpaper and half-title cut in inner margin and loose, stitching exposed at front hinge, a few pinholes in top margins of a couple of pages. Bookseller Inventory # 7336
