Trench literature: reading lists of World War I
The literature generated from the Great War is well documented and serves as a reminder of this terrible conflict. From Hemingway’s A Farewell to Arms, the poetry of Sassoon, Graves, Brooke, and Owen to All Quiet on the Western Front, there are many examples of acclaimed books from World War I.
