Japanese Bullet Train Bookmobile!

shinkansen-train-japan Cool. Lucky Japanese kids growing up in Akishima, Japan, can go peruse a library of approximately 10,000 books, all housed in the innovative and unique space of a former bullet train. The Akishima Library offers 25 seats, the aforementioned 10,000 books, and the ability to explore the retired train, which was built in 1973, and one of the 0 series trains – the first Shinkansen trainsets from the 1964 unveiling of the high-speed lanes.
