Abels, last of the fighting four. Volume itself has black covers with white lettering on the spine. Book has wear at the head and tail of the spine and a touch of corner wear. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality cover. DJ has wear along the spine and at the tail of the spine and along the bottom of the front cover. 173 pages. A nice, first edition, copy.

(i guess they did not want to leave any good people out). the introduction talked about how in WWII, our soldiers were exposed to poisonous gas, and how chemists had to come up with soutions, then goes on to say how chemists are being involved in treatment of diabetes, germs, leprosy & their greatest hope is a cure for Pneumonia. Interesting 80+ year old book.
