Provenance: Samuel Flagg Bemis (Yale historian and two time Pulitzer Prize winner), his blind stamp on title page of volume 1. A very good set, top edge dusty, some rubbing and blind stamp to title on volume 1, a few rear leaves roughly opened on index.
