SOBRE LA AUTORA:: Alison Uttley (17 diciembre 1884 a 7 mayo 1976), de soltera Alice Jane Taylor, fue un prolífico escritor británico de más de 100 libros. Ella es ahora más conocido por la serie de sus hijos acerca de Conejo Gris Pequeña y Cerdo Sam.SOBRE LA ILUSTRADORA:: Margaret Tempest nació en una conocida familia de Ipswich: su padre fue alcalde de Ipswich cuando ella era una niña, su hermano Roger era Rector de Kersey cercanos, y su hermano menor de Frank, un abogado, a su debido tiempo también se convirtió en alcalde. Ella desde el principio mostró un don para el dibujo y asistió a la escuela de arte en Ipswich antes de ir a Westminster School of Art en 1914. A partir de ahí ella co-fundó y fue secretario del Club Chelsea Ilustradores, un grupo de unos 17 estudiantes antiguos que establecieron su estudio en un granero del camino del Rey.
