But the Islamic influences in the later years made many changes in the religion and culture of Egypt. However the culture of Egypt remained mostly closer to the previous culture. However Islam also made its impact on Egypt and its society. Otherwise also Egyptian existence in the world is the meeting point between the Eastern and the Western cultures. Kamal Abdul Nasser became a great revolutionary of modern Egypt who revolutionised the Egyptian society on modern lines. This book reviews the entire gamut of Egyptian culture and their myth both in the pre Islamic and Islamic periods. It is hoped that the book will prove to be of immense use to the students of Islamic studies and to the students of history and international relations. 304 pp.
