"This original Pocket Books edition is printed from brand new plates." and "1st printing January 1960" statement to the copyright page, "Original Mystery not a reprint", .25c price and 1269 code to the front cover. Adapted to the 1967 film titled Tony Rome, starring Frank Sinatra, Jill St. John, Gena Rowlands, and Sue Lyons. Pages starting to age-tone as usual, tiny scratch and minuscule surface nick to the front cover's lower shelf-edge, minute rubs to the lower spine end, else very nearly fine, very tight, firm, and square in glossy stiff-card wraps with alluring lady cover art by George Porter, all page edges red; printed code 1269 and .25c price still intact to the front cover. Mass-market paperback.
