His claim to fame is especially his first collections of poems, "Les Fleurs du Mal" [The Flowers of Evil], included here, where the principal themes were sex and death. He was also a magnificent translator: His translations of Edgar Allen Poe are delightful to read. Printed on high quality vellum paper. Minor browning to title page and wrappers.
