Cloth With Gold Stamped Letter. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Various Illustrators and Artists (illustrator). The Centennial Celebrations of the State of New York by Allen C. Beach (Secretary of State), prepared pursuant to a Concurrent Resolution of the Legislature of 1878. and Chapter 391 of the Laws of 1879, there are approximately 17 illustrations and engravings, which include George Clinton, numerous battlefield sites, monuments, New Capitol, Assembly Chamber, ETC., it appears that there were about 5,000 copies printed as stated in the introduction. there is a presentation sticker present on the inside cover stating "Compliments of George L. Terry, Member of Assembly 1880.", beveled cloth boards with a bit of minor chipping to edges and minor wear to covers, the inside paper hinge coverings are split, contents are nice and clean with only a few very light brown age spots to the edges on a couple of engravings.
