Friedman's debut novel, about a Jewish family facing culture shock and bigotry after moving from New York City to the suburbs. Contemporary sources note actor Alan Arkin and director Richard Lester as having been attached to the project at one time, although the film ultimately failed to materialize. Set in New York.
