A wonderful collection of homilies on several laws of Shabbat, complied from halakhic authorities and works of Kabbalah, including lighting of the Shabbat candles and the idea of adding time onto the Shabbat, written by Bezalel ben Solomon Darshan (17th century), the first rabbi of Kobryn, Belarus, Russia. Small library stamp, Heichal Shlomo middle of title page, not affecting text. Heichal Shlomo was the former seat of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, in Jerusalem. Stamp of previous owner on bottom margin of last page. Inscription of previous owner along outside margin of verso of title page. Small pice of corner of last page missing, affecting text on one side. Partial purple stamp of previous owner on page 48. Ex-libraryText in Hebrew, in 'Rashi script.' Overall good condition.
