Spine rubbed - the titles are faded because of this. Spine sunned. Spine cracked. Spine cocked. Boards bowed. Some pages are detached but present and some are loose but still present. Beautiful colour plates. Plate 1 is on a detached page but it is still within the book. Pages are discoloured. Rough cut pages. Foxing and marks on pages and page edges. 6x5.

Pp.xii/91, 48 coloured plates,small bookseller's label (Alex Ridley, Tenterden,Kent) to inside front board, a little light spotting, gift message to front free endpaper dated 1929. Red brown cloth with coloured plate inset to front board. Dustwrapper has matching plate to front, small losses to top and tail of spine and corner tips and has 1cm closed tear to top edge repaired from the back, small ink marks to front, now in a removable clear protective wrap. Scarce with the dustwrapper. VG/G+.
