Softcover. Condition: Very Good. Quarto sized magazine in color illustrated deco-design wrappers. 60 pp. Illustrated with sepia and olive toned and black and white photographs. An exceedingly scarce promotional/propaganda magazine encouraging Western tourism, published in Moscow and intended for Amercian and British audiences (price on front cover is" twenty-five cents or one shilling"). This issue opens with an advert for the Leningrad Festival of Music and includes articles such as "The Nineteen Islands", "New Soviet Words', "old Moscow", "New Moscow" and "The Palace of The Soviets:Fifteen Years of Drawings". Also has full page color ads for canned salmon and dry pickled white mushrooms. Very good, some minor waer at the corners and spine ends.
