Soft Cover. Condition: Very Good. Howard V. Brown (front cover) (illustrator). First Edition. ----------pulp magazine, standard pulp size. Readers/collectors of SF fandom should note that this is the (in)famous issue that published a letter to the editor (Tremaine), reporting the death of great SF fan Bob Tucker. Tremaine wrote a heart-felt tribute, included in this issue. The letter was a hoax. Tucker lived another 70 years, and wrote (as Wilson Tucker) a lot of great SF and mystery fiction. When Tremaine learned of the hoax, he imposed severe restrictions on printing subsequent fan letters to the editor. Waterstain to the bottom edge marking but not swelling the bottom half-inch, small edge tears, small chip out of spine bottom, small pieces out of front cover top and bottom near spine, back cover scuff, a VG copy. Back cover advertisement is for Chesterfield Cigarettes. Letter writers in letters-to-the-editor column: Anne Smidley / Bob (Wilson) Tucker, D.C. Thomas, James N. Mooney, Ray Williamson, Robert C.
