NOTE: There are no library marks , labels, etc. of any kind. There is some inside browning to the front and rear end-papers and paste-downs most likely due to the brown glue used in bindings during that time. There is also a small split to the inside top of the spine seam otherwise book is CLEAN, COMPLETE, AND TIGHT. This book came from the personal collection of Dr. Tim A. Miller (Plastic and reconstructive) AT THE U.C.L.A. SCHOOL OF MEDICINE. . NOTE: Dr. Miller received the Bronze Star for his service in Vietnam. He also co-founded and was chief reconstructive surgeon, and executive director for Operation Mend. Founded in 2007, Operation mend is a program that provides reconstructive surgery services as well as other medical and psychological counseling services at no cost to severely wounded and disfigured veterans of the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The condition of this book is NEAR FINE and is COMPLETE, CLEAN, AND TIGHT. The 2ND Edition (1949) has 239 illustrations including two plates in color. It is also CLEAN, COMPLETE, AND TIGHT. It does have the bookplate of a previous owner: Emil S. Goodyear, M.D. which contains the words "A wise physician, skilled our wounds to heal, is more than armies to the public weal". These books came from the personal collection of Dr. Tim A. Miller (Plastic and reconstructive) AT THE U.C.L.A. SCHOOL OF MEDICINE. .
