Edge wear to top and bottom of covers, spine separated at front hinge and partially at back hinge, back cover partially separated, general overall wear and time staining, corners rubbed and bruised, some dust and time staining to page block. Internally clean and tight, overall not a bad copy for its age and size. 2931pp. Burke's Peerage was established in 1826 by John Burke (1786¿1848), who pioneered the narrative style which has become the trademark of Burke¿s Peerage publications and a recognised model for written genealogies worldwide.
