Half-Leather. Condition: Very Good. Burne-Jones, Edward (illustrator). First Edition. Volume 1 of a 2 volume set. Attractive binding with St.Olave's Grammar School gilt embossed stamp on front of boards. Spine has gilt lettering on brown and gilt pattern design. Very light signs of wear to exterior. Marbled endpapers with school prize plate on front pastedown. Frontispiece has quite heavy browning to reverse and to a lesser extent around the edges of the portrait of Burne-Jones. Tissue paper is slightly browned and there is light browning to the rear endpapers but apart from occasional spots and a nick in the edge of a plate of William Morris the gilt-edged pages are clean and unmarked. Illustrated by 20 plates and a number of line drawings. No jacket.
