Very jolly short rhymes on all sorts of subjects with 25 very attractive full page illustrations printed in 2 or 3 colours. There is a splendid Noah's Ark, a Punch and Judy, an Egyptian cat, a dancing hippopotamus, a kangaroo playing cricket and many other animals at which Burroughes excels. Boards very slightly darkened along edges, lower board slightly marked, corners just slightly rubbed, edges lightly foxed, occasional very slight faint foxing to contents, no inscriptions.
