Hardcover. Condition: Poor. Copyright is 1901 (Doubleday) ; this is the Grosset reprint, with date unstated. Binding is solid. A few pages have tiny marginal marks, and all are tanned. First page of introduction is missing large chunk at top. Front endpages include ex-owner plate (with name blacked out) and small date stamp. Front and back endpages have dark stain, as if from dustjacket or inserted newspaper cutout. Red cloth cover has a little wear to edges, but otherwise okay. No dustjacket.
