A book of light verse ( often about dogs ), with humorous drawings by C B Poultney. This appears to be the true first issue of the same book published by Muller in 1966 referred to often as the first edition. Dustwrapper is a little worn and has a piece missing from the top cover corner by the spine, there are several splits in places too. It is a tad browned with slight marks but overall reasonably clean. The pictorial cover below reproducing the wrapper cover is sound and bright save moderate browning where the top corner is exposed. The text is tight and bright. VG in G dustwrapper. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
