Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. The author has inscribed this volume on the front free end paper to an individual who she indicates, ". had a hand in the Goya essay." All four color images and all plates, black-and-white, that are called for are present. There are 56 pages of text and 41 plates altogether (the images are not included in the page count and are often one sided. The paper for the text pages is different than the glossy paper used for the images. The tan cloth covered boards have browned but the gilt lettering on the spine and front board remain bright. The spine ends are beginning to fray and the corners are bumped. The board edges show signs of wear. The tan dust wrapper with green lettering is heavily toned, has paper loss, chips and tears. Additionally, there is some light spotting to the end papers and paste downs, and the text pages show a bit of toning on the edges. However, the text printed on the covers remains legible. The top edge is gilt, and the gutters remain in tact. This book is heavy and may require additional shipping charges, especially for orders outside of the US. Inscribed by Author(s).
