Not found in OCLC. In the preface the author states her purpose of encouraging children and beginning gardeners of all ages, and providing a foundation of knowledge on which to build. Chapter titles follow the seasons and the text is illustrated with black and white half-tone photographic illustrations. A small hand-folded seed packet is laid-in at the page illustrating this skill.
