Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. C'Ora Wright (illustrator). 1st Edition. Front matter states that this is the first edition of PISMO PORTRAITS. 8vo. (23 cm.) 42[2]p. Stapled booklet in write wrappers decorated and printed in blue. Front wrapper has a vignette in blue by C'Ora Wright of an artist's palette with two brushes superimposed on a beach scene with two sailboats and low hills in the distance. Back panel has an ad for Lloyd E. "Pop" Gummere Realtor which includes a map of the area. Illustrated with 23 black and white captioned photos and numerous period ads. Near fine with square corners, no rust on the staples and no internal markings. Date determined from contents, which has photos of persons in late 1940s, early 1950s attire; there are no telephone area codes (which came into existence in early 1950s) and no zip codes (beginning in 1963).
