Very Good+ with very minimal wear in Very Good dust jacket that shows a little sunning on the spine, in mylar protection and not price clipped. The only complete history of the 7th Cavalry from its inception at Fort Riley, KS, in 1866 through the occupation of Japan and the Korean War. Much on Custer, the Washita fight, and the Battle of the LBH, as well as Lt. Ernest Garlington's report on the Snake Creek fight (Bear's Paw Mountain in the Nez perce Campaign, 1877). Much of this work is taken from Illustrated Review, Seventh Cavalry, United State Army (Denver: Medly and Jensen, 1910). Beautiful collectible condition.
